Friday 23 November, 5:45am, the first soil was turned and the ground blessed for the new building complex to begin.

The fence is up, the diggers are in and the foundations are being excavated!

The foundations have been dug and the buildings are taking shape.

The building outline takes shape and the concrete is ready to be poured.

Amazing the progress that can be made in a week! The Pasifika classrooms are taking shape as well as the toilet block and shower area.

Another week and more developments. The Pasifika classrooms have taken shape and the bricks will soon be laid.

The shape of both buildings can now be seen and progress is steady. By the end of the school break the buildings structure will be complete and the external work can begin.

Last week of Term 1. Last images for this term. Hopefully in the next set of pictures we'll see the roof and walls!!!

Development is well on the way. Look at the changes from Term 1 to now. We have a roof. There are windows.

It's taking shape now. Just look at the new Fale now. Not long now and the Marae will have their walls and roof etc....

Week 5 gone. Not many weeks left before the building is completed.

This week we see the building of the steps in front of the Marae.

As I was taking these photos, the builders were getting prepare to put the roof on so hopefully in the next week or 2 we will see the roof going on. I took some photo of inside the Fale rooms so you can see the progress happening inside.

Progress has been made as you can see by these pictures. The roof is nearly finished and the walls are going up. Not long now.

Major changes have happened. Doors, Walls, Windows, Roof etc..... Not long now.

Wow. Weatherboards being nail to the sides of the building, electrician installing all the cables and wires and all windows are in place. There's going to be major development made when we return to school after the holidays. Can't wait.

After the holidays we arrived to see the Fale roof all completed. not long to go now?

The outsides of the buildings are nearly complete and the steps and ground areas are being prepared for the concrete pads etc.

Lots of rain over the last two weeks but the outside of the buildings is looking pretty complete. Soon the concrete paths will be poured.

The concrete pathways are being poured. Some are already set and the concrete is being cut

With some good weather the new buildings are starting to look complete on the outside. Pathways are nearly all done and the Whare carvings are installed but still covered.

The classroom interiors are being fitted out. Whiteboards and cupboards, benches and kitchen units have been installed

Not long to go now...the interiors are nearly complete and the landscaping is well underway.

The Opening ceremony is now being planned so the buildings can be officially opened.
